Precision Safe

Safety Is Our Standard

At Precision IBC, safety is not a policy. It is a built-in standard. Every IBC that leaves our facilities carrying the Precision Safe seal has met a documented standard of safety, security, and performance before it reaches our customers.

What Precision Safe Means

A Standard Built From the Inside Out

Precision IBC provides our team with the education, training, tools, and equipment needed to prevent on-site accidents and injuries. Precision Safe formalizes that commitment and sets our internal benchmark for safety promotion and accountability.

Our goal is to maintain a zero-incident culture. But our broader mission goes further: we encourage every supplier and customer we work with to embrace the same standard. Safety isn’t just an internal value; we extend it throughout the supply chain.

The Precision Safe Seal

What the Seal Certifies

When you see the Precision Safe seal on an IBC, it means the container has been reviewed and confirmed to meet our safety, compliance, and performance standards. Every stainless steel IBC from Precision IBC carrying this seal gives your operation maximum confidence in shipping, handling, and storing your product.

Tell us about your application, and we’ll put together the right IBC solution for your operation. Our team responds quickly with straightforward pricing and no hidden fees.

IBC Fire Safety and NFPA 30

Understanding Risk

The Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code, NFPA 30, published by the National Fire Protection Association, provides safeguards for the storage, handling, and use of flammable and combustible liquids. When composite IBCs containing hazardous liquids are stored together in warehouses or other facilities, they can create dangerous pool fire conditions.

There are two primary ways these hazards occur:

Exposure of flammable or combustible liquids: When IBCs containing these materials fail, a large pool of liquid can be released. If ignited, the extreme heat release can overpower most fire sprinkler systems. This hazard exists regardless of the IBC construction type.

DOT Hazardous Materials Compliance

Following Federal Standards

For over-the-road transportation of hazardous products, Precision IBC follows the DOT Table of Hazardous Materials and Special Provisions (49 CFR 172.101).

This table references the applicable Special Provisions for each product and IBC combination, ensuring all packaging solutions meet federal requirements.
